In town for a couple of nights and popped in for a few pints. It is a small little bar, but nice atmosphere, and the Guinness was on the money. There was a band setting up so we did not stay around for that, just not my thing. Worth checking out if you are passing through.

This is a gas little pub. Full of characters with a lively atmosphere. Not much going on with covid checking so up to each individual if your comfortable.

Just went for drinks and we got the Prosecco and nibbles. Jenna and Connor made us feel so welcome and couldn’t be nicer to us. They were so attentive and really made our night. I have already booked my sisters and Mam in for a girls night after such a good night.

Went into Nuts Corner, in the centre of the town, as it had a nice exterior, old fashioned and inviting.
A few customers, looked like regulars, the horse racing on the box, ordered a pint of the black stuff, Guinness, which tasted good, service was fine. Nice, small enough little bar, with a traditional interior, a place for music at night, but not much happening this time of the day.

Had a few drinks in this pub over a couple of days and it was great. Bar staff very friendly and chatty. Toilets are spotless clean and the whole bar area is very clean. I would definitely come back for a few more pints.

Lovely pub great atmosphere and music. really enjoyed our night there lovely friendly staff and clientele highly recommend popping in for a pint you will most likely stay and enjoy another one

I went during the day and Shawna (Spelling?) was just THE sweetest! It's a warm quaint little pub with a little back deck for smokers or air. Many people are coming and going from the horse race bookie from across the street but everyone is super gracious and kind. Also, I've heard the music at night is the best in the area.

Absolutely brilliant traditional pub. Brendan and the rest of the team are brilliant. A really great welcome from all. If you are visiting Athlone please give this pub a try, you won't be sorry. Music nights and such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Will be sorry to leave Athlone

Found this Pub on Saturday when walking around ,Great little pub Rugby and horse racing on the TV Great Pint off Guinness will be Back .
