    Fantastic place!!
Fabulous way to keep the kids entertained! Our 3year old had a great time, especially feeding all the animals and on the large playground. Feeding the goats and holding the bunnies were the highlight. Staff are fantastic! It’s all very buggy friendly too (we had a 10 week old with us) and several hand washing and toilet facilities. Suggest to bring a small picnic and break up activities as there is just so much to do!

    Excellent
Absolutely brilliant place to visit for anyone. All the animals are so used to people and really friendly. When getting your ticket to enter the farm you receive a little bag of feed for the animals. A lot of the animals will come up to you and eat it out of your hand. We had our 2 year old with us. He had no bother letting the animals eat out of his hand and petting the animals. He biggest hassle we had was trying to get our son to leave.

I brought 50 7 year olds on a school tour to Glendeer Pet Farm today. It was one of the best days out I have had in a long time. It is so well run. The staff are excellent. The place is spotless. They have something for everyone here and the kids had a ball. It rained heavily at one stage but that didn't stop the fun. There is an indoor playarea and outside too. Our guide was superb, very patient and had great knowledge to share. The coffee and scones were much appreciated too. Well done Glendeer, a truly super day.

Honestly, we weren't sure about stopping here. But, we are definitely glad we did. Our family had a blast! Our daughter did not protect her bag of feed well enough and the goat got a hold of it and ate the entire thing! Ha! The staff was so kind and gave her another bag for free. We could have stayed here much later than we did. The animals are awesome and the play area for the kids and adults are so much fun. We were really impressed by the Glendeer Pet Farm. The kids kept asking if we could go back. It is a lot of fun! Definitely stop by if you are in the Athlone area.

Stopped off at this place on a whim on the way back from Galway. Amazing place, great variety of animals, loads of things for the kids to do, they seem to have thought of everything. On top of all that the staff were all really friendly and helpful and the lunches are as cheap as chips!
