Outstanding service one of the best pubs in town for customer service. staff are clearly well versed and keyed in. Sociable polite and helpful in particular two gentlemen one named kunle outstanding service and mannerism. Also his colleague didn’t get his his name but seemed to be happy running in the door on his break holding a pizza lol absolutely outstanding service another honourable mention who wasn’t on the door on the day but who definitely needs to be applauded security in Particular Paul tone who greets people at the door with authority but also courteousness as this is few and far between in some security personnel in town it shows a great experience in the role. A fantastic experience all around you will feel welcome and comfortable at peddler Mac’s Athlone! May it continue for many years the amazing atmosphere!

Spent one night in Athlone and went to this bar after a lovely meal. From the second we arrived Paul the bouncer on the door, welcomed us warmly, sorted a table and chairs for us and made sure as 3 women out for a night that we were ok and safe all night. Paul and all the staff were so kind and nice, it’s rare to walk into a bar as strangers and be treated with such kindness. The music and craic was excellent, thanks for a great night 🙌

Top class broke boys pizza at peddler Mac’s is unreal absolutely brilliant tasting pizza from a relatively new venture for peddler macs Athlone really impressed top quality pizza cooked in a proper wood fired pizza oven staff are brilliant was served by nice guy with glasses fantastic job and service. clearly very passionate about his job and he asked how the food was we told him it was fantastic and he seemed very pleased clearly enjoys his work more people like this please! Call into peddlers for the best pints service and now pizza! 🍕 in Athlone!

Great pizza! For €13 (each) we got two pizzas and they were as good as we've ever had anywhere and better. Staff were friendly and helpful the service from the wood fired oven was pretty quick We will definitely be back 😊😊

We came here for drinks on a sunny afternoon on a Saturday in April. The outside seating was already all taken, so our group of 8 found a comfortable place to sit towards the back of the pub. Music was playing in the background and the television was showing a sporting match. We enjoyed our beers and glasses of wine. My husband and I were a few days into an American tour company's trip to Northern Ireland and Ireland. This gave us a great opportunity to visit and get to know some of our fellow travelers.
