This is certified to be the oldest pub/bar in the world. Timmy the bartender gave us so much information about the bar and the area. And they make a wonderful Bailey's coffee.

If you like history and beer Sean’s pub is the place to go. Been around for over 1000 years. The place has lots of character and has some interesting displays. Friendly place bot beer is a little pricey.

Loved it great staff very friendly good pint proper pub. Sat and listened to the history of the pub as we arrived just before a coach party, so that was a bonus. Good whiskey too.

We stopped here by accident after stopping at the “castle across the street”(more like an interactive museum for children). GREAT bar.. fireplace blazing, sawdust on floor. Had Guinness and some Irish coffees.

The oldest pub in Ireland, maybe even in Europe. Very busy but service was quick and friendly. Music every day I think.

There's a super organic cafe just up the road from Sean's below the Bastion b&b. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch or just yummy drinks/snacks.
