Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Luan Gallery is currently featuring three exhibits. They were all unique in their different ways. Clare Scott’s Folie á Deux was abstract and Dr. Seussian in the best possible way. My favorite though was Elaine Hoey’s Surface Tension that features a VR experience that actually places you literally in the art. It focuses on nationalism and the European response to the rise in issues related to nationalism, particularly migration. I highly recommend anyone in town to stop by and do the VR experience - the graphics are incredibly good, better than I’ve seen at theme parks in Orlando where I’m from.

The gallery is located on the river and the light pouring in through the glass lined corridor is stunning in itself.
The gallery features different local artists and is well worth a visit. Some beautiful thought provoking pieces on display.
Their is currently no admission charge.

Small but beautiful gallery on the banks of the river, interesting architecture and excellent exhibitions when I was there. Free to visit, definitely worth a visit.

This is a compact but lovely gallery with wonderful views of the river. We loved the exhibition that was on while we visited. Worth a look in if you're in Athlone, Ireland.

What an amazing and beautiful space. My wife and I enjoyed the space and exhibit very much. It was nice to sit on the benches and stare out at the river. We were lucky to catch an exhibit that was not only from local artists, but in the print medium, one we very much liked. It was clean, spacious and well lit. It will be my joy to return.

This gallery is well designed with lots of natural light and views of the Shannon. No admission charge but rather a voluntary contribution. Well worth checking out.

Wandered into the Gallery for a casual visit as I recently began working in Athlone.
Will be on the lookout for displays of personal interest. Worth the visit for the change of pace and to absorb the stunning vistas alone

Luan Gallery is really nice and a structure and sits on the banks of the river overlooking the bridge . It’s free to enter but hit and Miss as to what’s on display.

This unexpected treat started with a very friendly reception at the reception desk and the receptionist went through the details of the three artist’s works on display to the point where, despite our very limited knowledge of the arts, we hugely enjoyed touring the displays. Lovely modern spotless gallery by the riverside.
