Nothing more than an ordinary cruise on any river. Viking hats, swords etc are available at extra cost.

Rug up because the weather on the river can get cold. The boat provides coffee and tea, which is nice. The Cruise commentary is a bit rehearsed and I would have preferred more spontaneous narrative but certainly worth doing.

A super way to send a couple of hours on the river on this fantastic replica Viking ship! In the safe hands of Viking Mike and George smooth "sailing" was had with wonderful historical info and refreshments available. Nice touch were the blankets if required....More

Went on the viking boat with 30 staff from our hotel.. everyone was delighted with the trip.. George and Mike were excellent, boat stocked with food and drink and were very interactive with all the staff! Excellent trip !

Had a great trip with mike and George on the viking boat...very informative and enjoyable tour..where we could just relax for the afternoon as we cruised down the Shannon. ...would highly recommend it if u are ever in Athlone.

We joined Viking Mike and his crew on his boat tour as a group requiring extra support from booking to sail they couldn't have been accommodating! Highly recommend thanks Viking Mike!

Not sure about that amount but two adults and four kids cost €40. I would say around €55 but check the website. vikingtoursireland

You’d have to call Viking for that - they usually provide daily walking excursions at no extra cost - with more extensive ones for additional fees -
