Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The only way to sum up Curraghduff Farm
"The most tranquil, calming and heart warming experience."
I wanted to organise a special/fun time for a date and decided an Alpaca walk may be a fun experience
I was lucky enough to come across Curraghduff Farm (45 mins North West of Galway City.)
And I reached out to check availability in which the day I hoped to travel there was availability.
We were so warmly welcomed to Curraghduff farm by the both owners and it really set the tone for what was to come.
To say that this was a 10 out 10 experience would still fall short of what it deserves. It was really a exceptional experience from start to finish.
The farm has fantastic facilities which are back dropped with some stunning views.
It was great to get up and close with all the Alpacas. Each with their own names and personalities.
We were lucky to be toured by the beautiful "Alfie" & "Henry" for the day.
The attention to detail was fantastic even down to getting refreshments at the end of our experience.
This honestly is such a fun experience and was worth every penny especially for anyone who appreciates & loves animals.
I would happily recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy having a special experience / day out.
Thank you again to the team in Curraghduff Farm and hope to see you again in the future.

Absolutely everything was amazing. Ruth gave us a tour when we arrived and we couldn’t have been met with a more genuine beautiful person. The amenities are brilliant, everything is so clean. The hut was so toasty and inviting. I would encourage everyone to spend a night at this beautiful farm.
If I could give more stars I would!
Thank you for an amazing experience x

Our whole family had a great time. Our young teen kids weren't excited until we got there, but quickly got into it and really enjoyed the experience too. A great family activity in a beautiful location.

Myself, mother and little boy had the loveliest afternoon in Curraghduff farm. Ruth and Stuart were the most welcoming hosts throughout our visit. The alpaca meet & greet was so special, where we got to meet and feed the alpacas. You can tell Ruth and Stuart adore their alpacas, pygmy goats and sheep , they are such happy, well looked after animals, and such a joy to be around. The pygmy goats were a delight also, so full of energy and mischief! We hope to visit Curraghfuff farm again to avail of the cool glamping facilities. And will be looking forward to those delicious homemade biscuits😍 Thank you for a magical time!

What can i say our experience at carraghduff farm was way beyond our expectation. Met first with a warm welcome from Stewart and Ruth.... Then we met the lovely alpachas who we found out not only their own name but their personalities traits likes and dislikes 😂😂!!!! The scenery around this farm is stunning and only 40 min from galway city its like a different county all together. Ruth and steward not only showed amazing hospitality but showed lots of experience, great knowledge of all the animals also passion and so much love for all their animals. Thanks guys so much for a great time.... one down side is i can only give 5 stars....... U deserve 50!!! all the best in the new year...

Stayed in the shepards hut, it was lovely, warm and had everything we needed! The host Stewart and Ruth were amazing, they brought us out the next morning to feed and meet the animals, it was an amazing experience and can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

Came to the farm with two other couples and had the best time today! Ruth and her husband are so thoughtful. We walked around with alpacas, met very nice sheep, chickens, and goats. We’d absolutely come back and stay in one of the huts! I would tell anyone of any age to visit :)

I can’t even know where to start and which part is my favourite about the farm! Puffy alpacas, friendly sheeps, chickens and more!! Ruth and her husband were super kind and fun to talk and travel around the farm. We walked around 2 hours with Alpacas (selfie master Alphi & pony tail Samuel) and it was super fun. I fully recommend to everyone booking this experience.
