Tuesday tide so high you could not get on, but Wednesday just brilliant - miles of beach to run on. Keeps changing format by the heat, but just a great place to walk.

Small beach at Howth with soft sand. At low tide it joins up with burrow beach and makes for a nice walk with great views of Ireland's eye.

When the tide is out, you can walk and walk and walk and walk. The sand is packed, making walking and sea shell collecting easy. Thoroughly enjoyed our times here!

Though can be rather exposed in the wind, which is most days! All the same worth a visit, there are nicer beaches up the coast, but for a quick kick around in the sand, or stand on the beach and look out to sea you...More
