Went on the ferry with my date. The ferry owner gave us a tour around Ireland’s eye. We didn’t get the small island since the waves were huge and it was too windy.
Can have a great view of the sea, Ireland’s eye and Howth!...More
If you like nature and hiking, you might spend an hour or two on this nice, uninhabited island and enjoy the landscape. You can get a ferry (motorboat) for 15 Euro per person to drop you off and pick you up later on.
You can get a small ferry to the island from Howth harbour costing about €15pp, which takes you to a rocky inlet on the far side. Our boat took us around the impressive ‘Stack’ rock formation with its colony of gannets, and we saw seals...More
While walking along the waterfront, we came across the tour. On a whim, we took the tour. It was a peaceful tour around the waterfront. We then went out to an island and saw a variety of birds.

The word "easy" is relative! I don't have the best of balance and the sea was relatively calm where the stairs are so it was easy. There was someone was ahead of me to take my hand as I stepped off the boat and someone behind me for reassurance in case I missed my step. The only place I was a wee bit shaky was coming down the steps to the boat as there is no banister :)
