A short train ride from Dublin, this seaside village is beautiful. Breathtaking views and many great dining options. Wander down to the dock to check out all the fishing boats and the occasional musician playing at the end of the pier.

We happened upon the boat ferry to see Ireland's Eye, a small island off of Howth harbor. It was very reasonable and the crew was very competent. Much to our delight, we were able to get off at the island. What a wonderful time of...More

A little wild for my taste lol... The birds literally attack you while you are walking... The guiders are the local fishermen, they are not guiders, keep that in mind. However, they are very nice people.

We took a little boat around the Eye of Ireland. Some people got out and stayed for an hour on the island. We enjoyed the ride in the boat and could watch a lot of birds and seals.

The word "easy" is relative! I don't have the best of balance and the sea was relatively calm where the stairs are so it was easy. There was someone was ahead of me to take my hand as I stepped off the boat and someone... More
