My Mum & Daughter have just returned from a fantastic night of Thai cookery. They couldn't have been more impressed. Sarah was an incredibly kind and skilled teacher. They cooked four courses in two hours and then sat down around a big table and ate. The location is wonderful in Howth Castle and only a short walk from the Dart.

After a bad experience with a voucher last year I was invited back to the Kitchen in the Castle and had a wonderful evening. Attended a great Vegetarian Thai cookery workshop. We got to make it and then eat it! Thanks to Sarah and team for contacting me to make amends and for a wonderful cookery evening. Highly recommended. I... More

I have done two different cookery classes with them which were very hands on and enjoyable. I'd recommend it to do it as a group activity as it's more craic when done with people who you know, also, the evening classes finish quite late so it'd be a good idea as a starting point to a night out.

We were a bit late due to having trouble to find the train entrance- you can take the commuter train from Dublin and easily walk to the castle. The castle was interesting to see on the approach, the kitchen is well furnished but you can tell it is not modern by the layout compared to large restaurant kitchens. The class... More

Couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received from Howth Castle Cookery School. I received a voucher for my birthday and forgot to use it by the expiry date. Thanks to everyone at the castle you agreed to extend the voucher and allow me to use it for a fantastic cook and dine. What a fabulous setting! Learned a... More

Wow! Fresh from the sea was the theme of our day. We went to local fish shop for a lesson on local fish. Then back to the castle and straight in to start preparing and cooking! We spent 3 hours learning how to gut, scale, skin fish and prepare many different dishes. Amazing chefs/teachers Susan and Sarah meant we all... More

Had a dreadful experience with Kitchen in the Castle last March. They Refused to honour a Voucher bought as a christmas present in December 2014!. Would not offer any other arrangements. Completely inflexible. Kept all of our money. DO NOT BUY VOUCHERS from them.

Unique location, chef demonstrates, you assist with chopping or mixing, then you eat with fellow attendees. Could be more hands on. Nice for a different kind of date!

We had a lovely evening at The Kitchen in the Castle Cookery School. We learnt lots from our wonderful teacher and then got to enjoy a stellar meal with wine after we were done. A great experience.
