This place is great for a stroll in beautiful Ireland! Check it out - very easy to get to. And it has a history that is rich in culture and fun. I love these towers as a place to know more about Ireland. Very cool!

This tower location offers a great view over the harbour, however that's it really. Martello Towers are the same all over. It has a museum inside which we didn't visit which is another attraction of course.

Climb the place and look around for pier, water, cliff trail, city and more... perfect place to get panorama.

Excellent walk up to the tower. Great view of the sea and Abby cemetery across the way. I would highly recommend the hike up.

Worth the climb up the hill. On a gorgeous sunny day the view is wonderful. Didn't go into the museum as a lot of students were around the its quite small.

There are, I think, a couple or more Martello Towers around Howth and one dominates the hill overlooking the harbour. It is worth the wee hike up that hill just for the views and, if it is open, there is the bonus of visiting the Hurdy Gurdy Museum of Vintage Radio in the tower itself.
