Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perfect little cruise on a cozy boat. Saw puffins and seals. Just a short loop of everything you'd want to see. I absolutely recommend this.

This is a must do if you are planning a trip to Ireland! Our hike was absolutely amazing. You definitely get the inside scoop and get to use trails most people don’t know about. The views were amazing and our guide Sean was fantastic! A great option for solo travelers and groups alike!

We had the most amazing bike tour with Conor and Hugh!
The experience was top notch from beginning to end.
The trip was the perfect combination of fun bike riding, viewing of panoramas , and engaging and informative commentary along the way!
It was the best tour we have ever been on, and are so glad that we chose this experience.
I would highly recommend to all !

I had a very nice tour with our tour guide Sean. He introduced everyone by name and country. I came to this tour alone, but because of the introduction, I felt like I was part of a group. This tour had amazing views and lots of stories. Don't be too surprised if the tour lasts longer than 3 hours, Sean is so passionate about Howth that the storytelling will continue for a while. I didn't see it as a problem because I had the time to myself. If you want to know more about Howth and don't want to go on the touristic trail, you'll have to choose for Howth Adventures!

My friend and I had an amazing time on our hike, with much of it being because our kind, knowledgeable, and helpful tour guide Dee! She knew so much about the town and surrounding areas and was a great story teller. She was very accommodating and supportive of others in the group who were having a harder time. She also gave us great recommendations for not only our day in Howth after the hike, but other cities we planned to visit after. Thank you Dee!

Dee made the hike so magical! We had the best day on her tour. She was so kind and quickly remembered everyone’s names and where we were from. She was personable and easy to chat with. She even gave us travel recommendations for our entire trip. The scenery was beautiful and Dee made sure that we got the most out of our experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend time in Howth!

I spent the week in Dublin, staying most of the time around the city center. On my last day, i took the Howth Coastal Hiking tour and it turned out to be the best day of my entire trip! First of all, its such an easy trip on the Green DART line to Howth - its the last stop and you cant miss it! The meeting point was directly across from the DART station, so it was such an easy meet-up for the hike.

Howth is a beautiful fishing village with hills and cliffs..so close to Dublin City, but so completely different. Our wonderful tour guide, Dee, met us near the Howth Market, and led us through the village, then to the highest point in Howth, where we had panoramic views of Dublin Harbor and the surrounding areas (we could even see the mountains in Wicklow from the top). She told us about the history of Howth and tales of the Vikings and pirates and all of the people that had touched the shores of Howth over the centuries. She then led us down the cliffs, pointing out the different wildflowers and sea birds that lived along the shores.

We ended up back in Howth Village, where all of us went our own ways down the Howth pier to enjoy a seafood lunch! I had red pepper soup and Black Sea Bass at Crabby Jo’s and it was delicious! I can’t wait to come back to Howth!

This was a highlight of our time in Dublin- and we had Taylor Swift tickets, so that’s saying something! Sean was a wonderful host, full of stories and history, and the route is just gorgeous. It is not too strenuous- we all did it in sneakers- but it’s enough so you feel you have earned the fish and chips. The video Sean created and shared at the was a lovely touch. Thanks so much!

Sean was wonderful. He led us safely over hill and dale. I learned so much about the flora, fauna and history of the area with a lovely recitation word a Yeats poem at the close. I highly recommend!
