We walked out to Baily Lighthouse on our Howth Walking Tour. The walk to get there did not feel long at all (although it was probably a couple of miles there and back) because the scenery was so beautiful. If you are in Howth- it...More

Stumbled upon this trail when touring about North Dublin in the car. Howth summit is worth a visit even if you just stay in the car park. You can look back down the estuary to Dublin harbour and the Wicklow Mountains but if you feel...More

Trails around Howth peninsula are marked well. You can see islands and rocks, beautiful colors of water and rocky green hills. Worth a day/half day trip to escape Dublin's hustle.

The harbor was filled with sail boats going out to sail and some to race. I was captivated by small fishing boats 400 meters east of the lighthouse. I got some nice photos of a seal. Ireland's Eye(an island) made a nice backdrop to some...More

Make sure to walk from the Summit car park by taking the trail down towards the lighthouse, or across the cliff path to the Nose of Howth. The light house is beautiful and a good hike. If you can catch her on a beautiful day,...More
