This is a great place to rent a bike, electric or not. The bikes are easy to use, in perfect condition and reasonably priced. Also, Séamus is full of sound advice and suggestions.

Amazing and friendly experience. We turned up without a booking as we had no plans due to poor weather. Seamus was so welcoming and friendly. We were sorted out with bikes and spent the afternoon cycling the 11K route. We got absolutely soaked. However we still enjoyed it, the Guinness and gorgeous Pizza in the Sheemore Inn was very welcomed. I can highly recommend. Excellent service, very friendly and welcoming. It was a great experience on a poor weather day. I can only imagine how amazing it would be on a sunny day. Family of 4, 11 and 8 year old boys.

We went to Lough Key Forest Park today specifically to use the tandem bikes with both our sons today, but I had made a mistake with the booking and booked the wrong date. This would have been a complete disaster as both of my sons are autistic with ID’s and were excited to go cycling and they would not understand why we couldn’t go. The Gentleman accommodated us at no extra charge and we were blessed the bikes were free as there is no other way the boys could cycle. He was also as kind to us on our last visit because we had never tried tandem bikes before, he let us give it a go and if we had to come back right away, he wouldn’t charge us. Thankfully the boys really enjoyed it and we were absolutely delighted for something else to do with them.
A massive thank you for your kindness. It made our day

It was the first week opening up after Covid19. We had booked a holiday in Riverhaven log Cabins, Co. Roscommon and wanted to explore the Shannon Blueway. Luckily Electric Bike Trails had opened back up. The set-up is so professional.
Firstly: they provide everthing- helmets, locks, panniers etc etc.
Secondly: it was so safe. Sanitizing station as you enter, Screens installed, everything you touch is disinfected/sanitised before and after you use it- e.g. pen, credit card machine. Staff wore full PPE. All of the bikes are sanitized. Really thorough.
Cost was very reasonable. We hired 4 hybrid bikes: one adult, two teens and a child's bike. Seamus and Eileen were so helpful- gave us great advice, and looked up local restaurants and coffee shops for us to see if they were open yet. Lovely people.
Off we went down the Shannon Bluway, easy cycle, perfect for families and inexperienced cyclists( like myself:)
Gorgeous route, all cycle track along the river up to Acres Lake in Drumshanbo where we stopped for a picnic. The open air swimming pool is there too, plus a childrens playground. A great day out. Can't recommend it highly enough. Will defo be back next year.

If you are cycling inclined this is the way to go. Reasonable prices and the bikes are decent (more padding please Seamus!!). We hired 2 hybrids and an electric bike (yes that's you Mammy!!). Everything was set up for us along with panniers for our bits and pieces and a map of the Shannon Blueway. We had a nice sunny day and the route is fantastic. It is predominately traffic free and the Acre Lake boardwalk is beautiful. We went as far as Lough Allen hotel where we had amazing crepes and waffles in the Treat Hut.

We undertook a combination activity- shooting and then archery. I was less impressed with shooting but found the archery very good fun. Young lad showed us the activities and he was enthusiastic and friendly - an asset to business.
