Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We came here with friends on their weekly visit to the market. It has some interesting stalls selling all kinds of food, especially the cheeses and charcuterie from Gubbeen. Some lovely fabrics, crafts and clothes too, and delicious home-baked breads and home-made jams. Loved our visit. It is obviously a very successful weekly event.

Such a lovely little market to stroll around and browse, picked up some gorgeous bits; fresh bread, meats and pesto for our week long stay in Schull and got delicious lunch from Nico’s and Effis Falafel too.

Average market. All of the goods on sale were over priced. Very few West Cork accents to be heard. Something to do on a Sunday.

This market is truly excellent and provides a great diversity of foods, drink and local art and crafts.
Situated in a spacious car park in the centre of Schull it is open every Sunday from 10 am to 14:00 from Easter Sunday until the last Sunday in September. Well worth a visit
