This is a great day out. Well organised and friendly service. Cape Clear is a really special place and is heavenly in sunshine. Fastnet Lighthouse is a spectacular testament to human determination and ingenuity and is awe inspiring up close. We also saw some dolphins which was pure bonus territory! Highly recommend and great value.

Fantastic trip to Cape Clear, all made possible by the great ferry service. On time, easy to use website. Feeling a bit unsure travelling from Co. Clare as the google maps usually underestimates time especially on a Sunday! Rang the service and a lovely lady put me at my ease, got me to chill - an preview of life on the island and to my question what happens if I miss the 12 sailing, she just replied you get the next one, same ticket no extra charge. The ferry was clean and I was assisted with my bags without having to ask. If only all travel was this easy. Great value at €40 for four of us return. Good work lads (and lady!)

Small but fun ferry going back and forth from Baltimore to the Island. Short trip and you can stand out on the small deck or on wooden benches. Worth a trip.

The ferry is the only way to get to the island but it is well worth it. I visited it recently as part of a day trip with my walking club. It is like going back is time and it is totally unspoiled. We travelled from Baltimore and it tool about an hour. Best if the weather is good and you have calm seas. Some great walks on the island

Recently we travelled to Cape Clear to trace my wife's ancestors. Our trip on the Cailin Oir was outstanding. The crew were incredibly friendly and helpful. One crew member set us up with a cab driver who took us around the island and even introduced us to island resident who knew my wife's family. The cruise on the ferry was outstanding and scenery spectacular. Hopefully we will be able to repeat our visit in the future. The island may be small but it is beautiful.
