Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a very informative experience as our family were Robinson settlers. I was able to read and watch more about this experience for our relatives. It was even very informative for my 10 year old daughter who would have gotten bored without the interactive questions to answer and receive a price. There was just enough reading and interaction to make it a perfect mix. It was even better that we weren't missing anything outside during the down pour. Anyone who has heritage in Ireland should check out this experience.

Annie Moore Statue in front of the Heritage Center of the Queenstown history, close to the harbour of the city. It is a symbol of the emigration in the 19th Century from Ireland to USA. In fact, she went to USA with his two brothers, and she was the first person to disembark in the new country. For this reason she has a statue in Cobh and another one in Ellis, the harbour of USA, where the ship went. The statue is very emotive, really a great monument to remember people from Ireland, who had to leave their country. The statue and harbour are a fantastic mix, which summarize the Irish people.

We had an hour to kill to visit the Titanic experience so walked this direction and stumbled upon this statue. Nice reminder of times past with a plaque with some history. Nice touch that the same statue is on Ellis Island also.

Visited Cobh because it's a really lovely town in a stunning area of the world. And right on the seafront is The Annie Moore Statue. A poignant reminder of Annie who left Cobh for America three years after her parents. Just one more famine story in the enormous collection from that tragic event.
Sad, though provoking and simply worth seeing to appreciate the story.

The Annie Moore statute really, for me at least was very poignant ... the thought of the tens of thousands of Irish who felt the only hope was in far off shores... it saddens me to think of the despair in making the decision... I am aware the opportunities in Ireland at the time forced many to leave their homes and families... if you get the opportunity to visit Cobh and go down to the the wharf near the rail museum and you will see this lovely reminder of the Diaspora which was and is part of the Irish story...

It's a statue. A nice statue. But a statue nonetheless. Not sure what else to say.
But TripAdvisor asked me to review it!

Although it’s only a statue it really sets the scene on the stroll from our cruise ship to the centre of town.

It’s a statue of the first person to pass through Ellis Island in NY. Certainly not worth going out of your way to see, but if you pass by, take a quick look.

This is a brief stop for photos of this statue of Annie Moore and her brothers. Pause and think how many people went through Ellis Island to become Americans. Cobh is a beautiful city made up of colorful buildings.

I`m confused. The statue of Annie Moore is in Cohb Irelandf.....and you mention it depicts them arriving in New York....
Shouldn`t it be at Ellis Island where they arrived?

would love to see this statue how far is it from the Titanic Experience
Written 27 February 2017
Not very far at all. In fact it is located right outside the building where the Titanic Experience is located in. Enjoy!
