Titanic Experience Cobh is a permanent visitor centre, located in the original White Star Line Ticket Office in the centre of Cobh town (formally known as Queenstown) in what was the departure point for the final 123 passengers who boarded the Titanic. Our visitor experience is presented in two parts. The first is an exciting immersive audio visual tour retracing the steps of the 123 passengers who boarded Titanic from Queenstown on April 11th 1912. Experience their anticipation of the long journey ahead and their new life waiting in America. With Fourth Officer Boxall as your virtual guide and using innovative audio visual technology and replica set designs, ‘passengers’ will experience what life would have been like on board for those 123 Queenstown Passengers. Passengers will share the excitement of boarding the most Luxurious liner of her time and feel the horror of the tragedy on that fateful night on the 15th April 1912.

Upon check-in you will receive your boarding card. Your boarding card will have the details of one of the 123 passengers who boarded on 11th April 1912. These were the final passengers to join Titanic at her last port of call. Your personal tour-guide will take you on a virtual journey to board the tenders and join Titanic for her... More

We took the walking tour with an excellent guide. It covered both the Titanic departure featuring a family that perished and details about the submarine sinking of the Lusitania near Kinsale, not far away. It was informative and we highly recommend the tour. Lusitania information was supplemented by reading Dead Wake by Eric Larsen-a readable book which gathered perspectives from... More

We visited with our two children and found the tour very informative. We were given tickets with names of passengers who boarded titanic and it was great fun waiting to see if we survived or not. Small exhibition but filled with facts and information. Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit to the Titanic museum. Its in the old White Star Line Office. The place is small but they have assembled a wonderful museum and exhibit. I would recommend it to anyone.

I'd been to a Titanic exhibition at a museum before, but this one takes the cake. Our guide was quirky and personable and the tour packed a lot of information into a short time, without making it too dense to follow. You're given a passenger ticket of a real person who left from Cobh and at the end, you get... More

Loved this exhibition. We were given tickets on the way in that had a Titanic passenger's name on it and found out at the end of the tour if we had survived the trip or not. It made everything more real. Very informative and nicely presented.

Came across Titanic experience almost by accident, when visiting Cork/Cobh. Even though it doesn't have the extent of the Titanic museum in Belfast, the links to the local community make it special, especially the different stories provided bu the guides. If visiting Cork/Cobh, this place is definitely not to be missed.
