Titanic Experience Cobh is a permanent visitor centre, located in the original White Star Line Ticket Office in the centre of Cobh town (formally known as Queenstown) in what was the departure point for the final 123 passengers who boarded the Titanic. Our visitor experience is presented in two parts. The first is an exciting immersive audio visual tour retracing the steps of the 123 passengers who boarded Titanic from Queenstown on April 11th 1912. Experience their anticipation of the long journey ahead and their new life waiting in America. With Fourth Officer Boxall as your virtual guide and using innovative audio visual technology and replica set designs, ‘passengers’ will experience what life would have been like on board for those 123 Queenstown Passengers. Passengers will share the excitement of boarding the most Luxurious liner of her time and feel the horror of the tragedy on that fateful night on the 15th April 1912.

Lovely experience more personal than the Belfast Titanic exhibition but both worth a look. Guide was friendly, helpful and informative.

I have visited here a few times when I have family and friends from Ireland and England over, always an enjoyable visit for those who haven't been before. The boarding cards are always a bit of craic, seeing who survives and who dies. Went recently and had Aoife as our tour guide - she was a delight, the best tour... More

My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. Tour is included in the price of entry. The tour guide was very good and seemed interested in the history herself. The use of different methods to relay information (audio, short film clips, tour guide, written information, reconstructions) meant it holds your interest throughout. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

We were really impressed by the short time in this experience. The first half an hour we were on a guided tour with a very good guide taking us to the dock where the last bunch of unlucky passengers boarded the Titanic before its fateful disaster, and setting the scene well describing how impressive the ship was and giving good... The museum is not big, but the exhibits are well laid out and very informative. You need to take your time and read and study the displays. We learned much more about the entire life of the Titanic than simply that it sunk in the north Atlantic. Yes, from Cork you can go to the Blarney Castle, but make sure... More

I did learn a lot during this tour, but the facility is pretty small. Fortunately it is not overly expensive and right on the main drag in Cobh.

The tour guide was extremely informative and pleasant. The layout of the tour was quite well done and well thought out. It's quite short but you get exactly what you've paid for 😊

My son turned 8 and is fascinated with the titanic so we took him here for a birthday treat. He loved it, getting to see the conditions and hearing all the information on the great ship, he loved the pictures and the life size model.
