Titanic Experience Cobh is a permanent visitor centre, located in the original White Star Line Ticket Office in the centre of Cobh town (formally known as Queenstown) in what was the departure point for the final 123 passengers who boarded the Titanic. Our visitor experience is presented in two parts. The first is an exciting immersive audio visual tour retracing the steps of the 123 passengers who boarded Titanic from Queenstown on April 11th 1912. Experience their anticipation of the long journey ahead and their new life waiting in America. With Fourth Officer Boxall as your virtual guide and using innovative audio visual technology and replica set designs, ‘passengers’ will experience what life would have been like on board for those 123 Queenstown Passengers. Passengers will share the excitement of boarding the most Luxurious liner of her time and feel the horror of the tragedy on that fateful night on the 15th April 1912.

We have all seen the movie but the to have this authentic experience was a once in a lifetime. They do a great job at giving you the boarding experience, and seeing an interior room or two. The guide was a wealth of knowledge and I highly recommend it.

I bring my class each year to the Titanic Experience as part of our study on the Titanic. The children really enjoy the trip, as a lot of what they have studied and researched in class and at home is brought to life. The staff are very helpful and accommodating and most importantly Knowledgeable. We even dress up to mark... More

The Titanic experience is fun - in a strange way. Your entrance ticket has a name of a passenger on the it and at the end of the tour you can check to see if you survived the voyage. Its a short tour with lots of interesting information and the tour guide was excellent. its well worth the hour you... More

A very well put together Titanic experience. The whole history of Belfast from ship building to the Titanic departure and subsequent loss is well depicted. The actual site of her BIRTH is an even greater story. Allow 3 hours at least which includes refreshments.

This was a very well done tour of what it probably was like aboard the Titanic. Upon getting your ticket, you are also assigned the name of a passenger. They have recreated a few areas of the Titanic and have some actual photos. Part of the museum is interactive with holograms and tech displays with lots of information. Eventually you... More

We caught the train from Cork to Cobh,it's only about half an hour away. The exhibition is only a couple of minutes away from the station. I was hesitant as I felt that it might be a little ghoulish - how wrong could I have been! The exhibition doesn't just focus on the Titanic,it tells of Irish emigration too. When... More

Nice information on the Titanic with incite on traveling during that time of the century. Interesting in the difference in accommodations on each level.

So much to see and so much to learn about the titanic and it's visit to Cobh. But it's not just about the titanic, it's the sad story of emigration, it's the military history of Cobh and the way of life of its people down through the years. We really really got a lot out of it and heartily recommend... More

We visited Ireland in September/October, 2016 and toured around with a rental car. One of the areas we visited was County Cork and specifically this coastal village. This exhibit was interesting and informative but be aware there is a charge to get in.
