While working with a Cruise Ship Excursions group in Cobh recently, l brought the group to see this show. It was my first time and it was truly a delightful and up lifting experience in the historic Commodore Hotel, Cobh. My pre booked group of 22 was greeted warmly by the multitalented MC, Angela Ryan and her cast of musicians and dancers. The group absolutely loved it! It is a very polished, professional, joyful experience. Angela is choc full of musicality, skill, passion and local knowledge, she is a true Cailín Gaelic. Generously, the musicians shared their personal knowledge of how they learnt to play their instruments such as the Uileann Pipes and Harp with the group. I predict that this show will out grow the venue’s smallish room and they will need a bigger one soon for more to enjoy. Thank you everyone. Very proud to hear many much loved Irish songs we rarely hear any more and hummed along to!

    A MUST-DO Show to Attend.
FANTASTIC! SPECTACULAR! A great way to spend a morning or afternoon. The group of four musicians and two dancers were outstanding. The music and singing were wonderful. The dancers were unbelievable. The young woman dancer competes in dance contest. The two cherries on top was a 5 minute discussion into/about Irish culture and a free drink included with ticket price. Also in downtown Cobh in a hotel show room, about 25 attendees.

Feel the Irish music you can‘t sit still.
Coming from the Princess cruise we went to the commodore hotel, where we listened to our tourguide Michelle , giving us an inside on Ireland while they served a drink. It was an amazing show. With a not so large group , we enjoyed every minute. The singer, the players and the dancers gave a wonderful impression of the Irish music&culture. We clapped along and sometimes could even sing along. If you want to get a good impression of Irish music, I highly recommend it. It is a well balanced programm, serious songs, well known songs, fiddler songs, harp, dance, great quality.

I went to see the show in the Commodore hotel yesterday afternoon with a group from the cruise ship. What a wonderful experience it was. Such talent all together in one room for 1/2hrs. Top class local Irish talent from dancing to singing and playing wonderful instruments like the harp, accordion etc. I felt so proud of them…great ambassadors of our cultural heritage. You need to see it for yourselves, you will not be disappointed. Angela Ryan is a marvellous MC and singer. I wish them every success with this Cork Cultural Show and recommend it without hesitation.

We loved the traditional Irish music and dancing. It was a real treat to experience this show in its intimate, comfortable venue. It felt like a scaled-down, smaller-town version of a show we saw in Dublin. With such limited time in beautiful Ireland, I was glad to have a second chance to see a show like this one. I definitely would go again.
