Easy to find and navigate. A bit of a scramble to get to the top of the circle. Tough on a rainy day but great way to feel 1000 years ago.

Found this place via Tripadvisor. Magnificent views. What a beautiful landscape. Signs were well placed and the situe was easy to find. Historic site which you should not skip when visiting Beara Peninsula.

After our Hotel stop in Glengariff we drove to the ring of Beara. Beautiful coastal route. As we were heading to Castletownbere we went to Dereentaggart Stone circle. Further along the road we park up by Teernahillane Ring Fort. I am determined to find the Teernahillane stone pair and boulder burial once and for all. The landscape is desolate. The ringfort is amazing and surrounded by catle 😁. However one of the ancient mystic places along this narrow road. Well signed you can not miss it.
