We parked up after Ahkinsta and walked to the end of the peninsula. Lovely walk, plenty of birds, butterflies and plants for the naturalist and good hard walking. Great relief at the cafe at the end of the headland, and then back again. Wonderful walk,...More

Toured around the peninsula. Breathtakingly beautiful views. A photographer's paradise. The only fly in the ointment was the speed of some of the locals. Tourists want to appreciate the stunning views.

It's a difficult place to get to with narrow roads but worth it to see the spectacular views and the walk from the parking area out to the head.

Loved taking a drive on the rustic roads of the Sheepshead Peninsula! The scenery was spectacular! Love the fact that it's not over run with tourists!

Narrow roads which makes driving a little tricky, but the views are worth it! This drive was nice because it wasn't as busy as the Ring of Kerry or Slea Head drive - I didn't see a single tour bus.
