Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We got here on a wet day and I would recommend perhaps visiting on a nicer day . It was easy to find using online maps and well signposted. While small there is plenty of parking for the volume of cars that visited that day.

This was so amazing to us since we do not have anything like this in the U.S. It felt very ancient and mysterious. We were really impressed by the “grill”. Our main gripe was we tried to time travel through the stones to get to Jamie but failed!

Amazing to stand amongst such ancient and well preserved relics and to try to imagine how people would have lived. Be wary of slippery areas and little dykes at the site. Fabulous scenery and walk.

A pretty day to share this space with the cows in the pasture beside the circle. It was easy to find using Google Maps! There is parking space for a few cars. There's a gravel path to the circle - about 100 meter walk. This is a quiet, eerie place and well worth a stop.

To find this place out in the middle of a field slightly off the beaten track is quite something so if you have time do stop off as you will learn something!

Worth a visit lots of history and very atmospheric. Try and go on a dry day or take your wellies as can be a bit muddy.

Easy to park and only a short walk to the stones.
Two information panels which explained the stone circle and the huts (a little further on from the stone circle).
A very peaceful setting with lovely views in the distance.
We would definitely recommend visiting.

Lovely peaceful location. It's amazing how this structure was put together and lined up accurately so long ago. Worth a visit.

I really enjoyed my visit to Drombeg Stone Circle today, a beautiful and secluded spot. There is a small roadside car park and a short path leads to the site which is free to enter.
There are display boards to explain what the stone circle is and how it was used as well as a fulacht fiadh cooking site and a well. Again there is an interesting info board which outlines how the site was excavated in 1957 and what was found here.
Very picturesque location a few minutes from Roscarberry down a very narrow, winding boreen.

This is a quick visit. There is a small car park and a simple / well marked trail to the Stone Circle. There are a few informative signs that you can read. The views across the countryside is amazing. This will take you longer to find than to actually hike and see it. But, it is a cool site to visit. It is no Stonehenge and most of the stones only stand about 5 feet tall -so, don't have super high expectations.
