About
Sit on the terrace here, gazing out over green fields and the sea view, eating homemade ice cream produced from the milk of the Daly’s pedigree herd of Fresians, it’s hard to imagine feeling better. This is happiness in a double whammy cornet full!

Gorgeous ice cream, served by a really friendly lady. The icecream really was delicious. It is pricey but worth every penny for the quality. Far superior to Murphys ice cream in both taste and value for money. Absolutely, loved that the dairy where the milk comes from is right beside the little ice cream shop.

Unbelievably good ice cream. Honestly, as good as I have had anywhere. It is expensive at €5.50 for two scoops but it is so worth it. Well done to them.

Ice Cream was lovely but very expensive at 2.80 a scoop. The lady(looks like the owner wife from the pictures)who served us was not very nice. There were 3 of us and she told the other lady behind the counter to start counting. Not very professional. Customer service needs a lot of work. Won't be going back to give her 2.80 for a scoop of ice cream. It will probably be gone up another 10cent. It costs nothing to be nice.

Small farm selling homemade ice cream. The icecream is really good and I loved it. The place was basic but clean and it is a family run, the teenagers behind the counter very friendly and good with local knowledge etc. Very pleasant stop off

Excellent home made ice-cream, and friendly staff. €2.80 for one scoop which is a little pricey when let's face it nobody ever buys just one scoop. The family of 5 bill came to almost €40, but that's because we went back for more 😁

OMG, this ice-cream is incredible! We cycled (family of 5) from Cahersiveen, took the ferry across to Valentia Island, and headed up the hill to this place. It was so worth the trip. SO much so, a few days later, we were back for more!

The ice cream here is so delicious! Lots of different flavours, I had rum & raisin and caramel, my husband had cookies & cream and chocolate. Huge portion sizes and reasonably priced! A good reason to schedule a return island visit!

Back in Killarney, my fiance and I had two very enthusiastic votes for Valentia Island as a destination along the Ring of Kerry. Once we got there though (by ferry), we weren't sure where to go next. However, we saw a sign for ice cream and I'm so glad that was our first stop!
First off, the ice cream was fantastic. I got a honeycomb that wasn't too sweet and just perfect while my fiance got a mint chocolate chip that was wonderfully refreshing. Not only was the ice cream good, but the owner was so helpful in helping us design a quick itinerary of go to spots on Valentia Island - all the best stops for the scenic views and interesting things to see. So glad we caught them on their last day of the season!
Hope to be back at some point in the future!

Spent a week doing the Wild Atlantic Way. Valentia Island is not just for apprentice Jedi. If you love ice cream this parlour can't be praised enough. All ingredients are within walking distance of the farm. The texture and flavouring of the dessert are to die for. The owner and creator served us with a sunny smile making us feel very welcome.

We had heard how wonderful the ice cream was from friends who had visited Valentia Island. We had to go try it while staying in Waterville and it did not disappoint. We are so happy we made a stop here and was well worth the slight detour we took. The owner works hard tending to the cows, her family, running the ice cream parlor, gift shop and most importantly making ice cream. It’s great to be able to support a family run business who cares deeply for turning out an amazing product. We should have taken pics of our ice cream but we ate it too fast. The honeycomb was amazing!! Be aware though the ice cream parlor shuts down the end of summer. We were lucky to catch it in its last days of business before closing.
