My Favourite Beach (I’ve been to a lot)
Sep 2021 • Couples
I’ve been to a lot of beaches but this one has one of the best backdrops ever. If you find a spot on the top of the dunes there is endless photo ops. Everytime I’ve been there the weather has been amazing, so maybe rose tinted glasses but definitely a beach to visit. Park further down towards the dunes and then start your walk from there

Lovely beach for walks
Aug 2021 • Family
2021 and lots of jelly fish around .kids refused to swim in it .no access to motor homes as a barrier prevents entry to parking.nice dog walk if you have dogs.kept clean by kerry county council.you would want to arrive when the tide is fully out as there is not alot of sand when it comes in quick .there are concrete pathways down onto the beach.nice restaurant on the beach front with good food.also one shop during the season which is open.some people camp near the dunes in tents.disabled parking is also on the beachfront for blue badge holders.big playground across from beach.

July swimming
Jul 2021
The beach is lovely, check the tides because at high tide there is very little sand to stand on. At low or ebbing tides the beach is amazing and great for swimming.

good for a dip and a walk (and a paddle-board spin even) and fantastic stones between dunes and beach.

Spent a good long day at this beach with tweens. Lovely beach with great big rocks to sit on. Great area for walks too. Small shop, take away and restaurant. Plenty parking with height barrier but some spaces for campervans also.

Stopped here on the way to Valentia Island on a fresh windy day. Gorgeous beach sorry we didn’t have time for a walk.

Wonderful Beach
Dec 2019
I came here on vacation from New Zealand and I was so amazed by the views and the wild water which this beach can offer. We were here at Winter so it was very stormy and cold but it was still magnificent. DEFINITELY, if you are on the ring of Kerry or visiting Kerry, take a visit to this beach. Also, try take a visit to Inch Beach and if you want to go surfing this beach can SOMETIMES be INCREDIBLE for surfing but the majority of time Inch Beach tended to be the better option for the 2 weeks we were in Kerry.
