This was a big hit for our 5 and 3 year old. They had the best time running along the trail inspecting every fairy house to see if anyone was home. Looks like you’re in a storybook running through the trail. The mobile cafe at the entrance was a great spot for a little treat after the walk for the kids.

My Son and I went for an evening walk at this Forest to get out of the house.
It a fairly long walk and takes about an hour to do. My son loved it because it kept him busy telling me which house he live in as we went a long and checked out each house. The houses are really cute and well made. There's some houses that have stones with names on the stones which is cool.
The views from the mountain are really inspiring to see and the walk is lovely. One section of the Fairy Forest has an Estate of Fairy Houses which is really cool. The Houses are so pretty and colourful and Arty and makes a Forest Walk interesting and Fun to Walk. We really enjoyed the walk and it was nice and dry for our evening walk.

Nice short walk withvslightly steep gradients. There are approx 50 Fairy houses along the way all the kids enjoyed it and it takes about 30 to 40 mins to complete. Its relaxing and really enjoyable for all the family. It's free and I would recommend it

Partially a steep little train with an avunfave of different fairy forts, it must've been beautiful in its hey-day but unfortunately, some of the forts look quite neglected and could do with some maintenance / repair. All in all a nice place to bring the kids, or just for adults - it's well worth to scramble upwards towards the top of the mountain, where you eventually come out of the forest into the open and will have a grandiose view over Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh beach, Inch beach and the Dingle peninsula across the sea.

Nice walk through a forest that has many little surprises. Apparently, children have been placing all the fairies in the woods.
Must be especially nice for young children.

Enchanting forest (literally, with fairy homes) outside of Glenbeigh. The beautiful forest has a trail lined with fairy houses made by school children.

Whimsical doesn't even begin to describe this enchanted forest on the outskirts of town. I swear I heard Enya playing or perhaps an all-fairy Enya cover band playing in the background as I walked through this truly magical trail.
