Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Myself and a group of family and friends recently did the Reeks hike with Richard and I could not recommend him enough as a guide. We were unfortunate with the weather on the day of the hike but Richard did a fantastic job of keeping spirits up and making sure no one fell behind in the challenging conditions. He also has a wealth of knowledge on the mountains and surrounding landscapes and is generally great craic! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we scheduled another hike with him for a months time!

I highly recommend Morrison Tours if you are considering walking / hiking regardless of the size of the group or location.
I have got to know Richard, Ann Marie and their fantastic team well over the past 2 years and have enjoyed several memorable walks and hikes around Kerry with them.
They leave no stone unturned when it comes to planning. They are professional in what they do. Communication is key to planning such events and they do this well as they have the knowledge of the areas, understanding of the terrain making sure that our safety is paramount.
The team are so friendly and caring making each occasion a wonderful experience for our group walks where we have between 30 & 65 people participating.
I am part of the Fexco walking group which provides many benefits for my health and wellbeing. I have discovered walks that I never knew about or ever dreamed of accomplishing. In Aug 2022 I climbed Carrauntoohil with 60 work colleagues, friends and family and I am so proud as my son was with me making it an even more memorable hike.
Thank you to Morrison Tours for your great 5*service.

We travelled as a group of co-workers to Kerry from Belfast for a team building trip to climb Corrán Tuathail. Originally we had planned for a local Belfast guide to accompany our groups trek up the mountain (however; Covid had other plans!) and we were left without a guide until we luckily were put in touch with Richie, who came very highly recommended. Having a local Kerry man who knows every crevice of the mountain, (who has a story for every crevice!) and who also has a wealth of experience and mountaineering/rescue qualifications to lead our climb was a massive reassurance to a number of our party who were very nervous about the trek and also were novice mountain walkers. I myself am petrified of heights and with Richie’s leadership, reassurance and the absolute patience of a saint, we all reached the summit and back down again in one piece! Richie himself walks Corrán Tuathail several times a week and knows many routes to the summit and will assess which is the safest most viable route depending on weather conditions and the group’s ability. A great day out and as challenging as the mountain is, I’ve a whole new appreciation for climbing and am keen to do more in the future. Go raibh míle maith agat a chara 🙏

I am just back from a stunning Hike with Richard from Morrison Tours up Purple and Tomies Mountain. We had a truly fantastic time and Richard and his team (Vivienne, Lorcan) were the ultimate professionals and took excellent care of our group. The service they provide is truly 5 star, very personal, highly competent and very attentive. I would highly recommend Morrison Tours to anyone (individual, group or corporate) to anyone visiting the Kerry area.

After attempting Carrauntoohil on Saturday 30th Sept in terrible weather with a group of Irish cousins (Mary, Tom, Ann and HF) they invited me to join them again on the Sunday with Richard who had agreed to lead us after being recommended by Eamonn our guide on the Saturday
We met Richard at Cronins Yard for 07:30 and set off after a quick chat on what to expect from the day. Richard was a great guide, full of enthusiasm and encouragement throughout the day along with various anecdotes and knowledge of the mountain and surrounding area.
On reaching the lake just before ascending Carrauntoohil Richard discussed the different ways up and what to expect. It was decided within the group to do the devils staircase route and return via the zigzag route. At the top of the devils staircase we stopped for a break and sandwiches before making the final ascent to the summit and returning via the zigzag route to Cronins yard. Richard was an excellent and enthusiastic guide, took time to chat with everyone in the group and shared his knowledge of the area with everyone, I would recommend Richard and hopefully will use him again in the future. Thanks for a great day

We are a local financial Services company (Fexco) and every year we organise a number of walking / hiking events. Over the summer we did our Annual 3-Peak Challenge and we engaged Morrison Tours to guide us on our hikes. Over July, August and September Richard and his team guided us up Mangerton, Carrauntoohil, and Benkerragh and did so with the utmost professionalism. We had truly wonderful experiences with his superb team who are engaging, conversational, fun to be with and also pure professionals in ensuring our safety and well-being at all times. I have not hesitation in recommending Richard, his team and Morrison Tours to anyone and most especially to the business sector for any team days out. You will have a trip to remember for years to come......

Richard and his team safely guided 60 of us up and down Carrauntoohil in August. No matter the size of your group you will be taken care of, encouraged and supported. It's my 3rd time out on the mountains with Richard and definitely not the last. Always in good humour, masterful in giving a personal touch. Strongly recommend Morrison Tours!

Richard is by far the best man you could ever want for to guide you on a beautiful hike in Ireland (almost made us forget that the weather wasn't great ;) )!! He made the group feel comfortable with the hikes and climbs even though most of us did not have prior experience, but he also made the three days completely unforgettable due to his absolutely wonderful personality and mood! He was so encouraging and happy to share his passion with us but you could also tell he was extremely experienced and knowledgeable!! Recommend going on hikes with Morrison Tours anytime! We miss you already, Richie!

I have been on several walks guided by Richard and his fantastic team at Morrison Tours. Every trip has been such a wonderful and enjoyable experience. Richard is very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging and has a sense of humor to rival any comedian! We just completed another fantastic hike at the weekend in Killarney and I have booked up for several more trips with Morrison Tours over the coming months. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

On Saturday I did a climb with Richard and his team. Richard was totally professional in his approach giving everyone confidence that they were in safe hands. His knowledge of the terrain was excellent and some of this stories added great colour to the day.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
