Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

dropped in here while on the ring of Kerry. The helpful volunteers were convincing enough to keep me in the area for a day instead of driving through. I'm so happy I did. Next time I'll spend a week in the area - hiking, cycling, and kayaking. For active holidays or mini breaks its a great area to visit. Whether you want to book a hiking guide, rent a bike or get some info on local hidden gems, the visitor centre staff will mark your cards well for you.

Thank you for your review and kind comments about our lovely staff, who are truly an asset to our visitor centre. Delighted that you stayed in our area a little longer and we hope to welcome you back to the Reeks District very soon, hopefully for a longer stay next time... you could easily fill two weeks with all the amazing things to do in the region. Kind regards, Lee @ Reeks District

Being a local, who travels around Ireland a lot, and somewhat of a techophobe,I love information centres. This new venue is super, great info, great design, a bit of quality shopping if necessary and staffed by well informed locals in an ideal location, what's not to love about the place, a real asset to the town.

I live in the area but I still find that this tourist centre is a handy source of information about activities and events.
The team can give you information on accommodation and easy walking routes and they can help you arrange outdoor activities.
