We stopped here on our way to Castleisland. As it was a beautiful day we were especially lucky to see a fantastic panoramic view of the area . Worth a stop if you are passing.

After a long journey from DUBLIN with American cousins, we got our first panoramic view of Kerry. They really enjoyed the view of Killarney and the McGuillicuddy Reeks directly ahead, Ireland's highest mountain range, and looking to the right had a fabulous view of Mount Brandon, Tralee and Castlemaine. Over the next 3 days we did Killarney National Park with it's Traditional Farms, The Ring of Kerry and travelled to Dingle and around Slea Head with it's unique Visitor Centre - Ionaid Blascoid. VERDICT:- Unforgettable - lucky we had clear skies all along
