Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The warmest of welcomes from a father and daughter team, who loved to chat and adored our dog. It’s our second visit here having such a positive experience last time we came. The father started his glassmaking as a late career switch to doing something he loved doing. Beautiful colourful glass pieces on sale (made in the back room which is visible through a hatch). We bought presents for friends here. This shop enhances the town of Clifden. Definitely visit if you want to come away uplifted.

Lovely shop with beautiful glass art , very friendly owner . Worth a visit when in Clifden, prices are reasonable and all items are thoughtfully packaged. I bought a number of light catchers as gifts for family and friends .

Such a gem of a shop to find in beautiful Clifden. We' ve been following them on Facebook for a while and were so delighted to finally get to see their wares in person. Every single one of their products are magical and so, so colourful! We bought a little Scooter buddy to bring on our travels and my daughter bought two beautiful little angel trinkets. We couldn't buy anything bigger as our car was packed already and we didn't want to chance breakages! But, we can't wait to buy something beautiful to have in our home when the opportunity arises!

I stopped in this shop on a recent trip to Ireland. Lovely hand-made glass items. Sun-catchers, bowls, wall-hangings. A wonderful assortment with a wide variety of price points. Look for wall art called "John Conneely's Sheep"--a perfect souvenir from the Connemara coast. I should have chosen a few items while I was there, but am now corresponding with the owners at www.connemarablue.com to have some items shipped to me.

Beautiful glasswork in a variety of styles. Really helpful people, caring and considerate. Well worth popping in! They also run classes which I may well sign up to in the future, build a trip around it!

Not only this little gem is a wonderful source of glass art and chromatic enthusiasm, but it's topped up with the amazing staff!
They welcomed me for "I'm just looking" and when they notices my fiancè was oustide with my dogs, they welcomed my two beagles as well and while talking about their great art, all made in the back of the shop, I knew I will be back and use their great website.

Cliftden is a marvelous little town in the heart on Connemara.
Being a fellow fuser it was lovely to see such a successful and thriving
shop right downtown (you cannot miss this place, bright pink building).
While I was there the owner took us back to his work area where he had
been in the middle of teaching a class. Everyone looked so happy, I wish
we could have stayed to play with the glass in his shop. Next time :)

I stopped in to buy a souvenir and ended up staying for the afternoon and making one myself. This place is a treasure - not only do they sell beautiful handmade glasswork, they teach you how to make some yourself. After a quick lesson on glass cutting, you design your masterpiece, choose your colours and spend a thoroughly relaxing afternoon creating a lovely memory of Clifden. HIGHLY recommended, even if you think you aren't artistic - it's the process that's the best part. Also, a good rainy day activity. Thanks for a terrific art class!

This is one of those rare, stumbled upon shops that make traveling so enjoyable. It is a small shop specializing in the art of glass. The fine and innovative work was only surpassed by the charming and gracious employees (the owner should know how fortunate he is to have such talented ladies). We had a few items made for us, and they arrived in perfect shape even before we returned to the States. Note that the charming town is worth a visit too.

Beautiful hand made glass artworks for sale in Connemara Blue - absolutely gorgeous! They also offer workshops where you are taught how to make a piece yourself, which you collect the following day. I definitely recommend this, we loved it and we have two lovely souvenirs (that we made ourselves) of our holiday in Clifden. Ben and Wendy are really lovely and so helpful.
