We believe this to be a fairly new attraction in the area and we’re really glad we visited. The one site is both the location of the landing of Alcock and Brown and also the site of Marconi Station – just a coincidence it seems!...More

Visited this site 18 th Feb. Great morning out. So much history and a lovely walk. Site of first transmission across the Atlantic and site where Allcock and Brown touched down on the first transatlantic flight. No entrance charge. Definitely recommend it!!

This really is worth seeing; brilliant interventions in an extraordinary natural landscape. A perfect 5k walk to blow off the worries of life. And the ghosts of Marconi and his men seem to haunt the place. A must see.

You're in Ireland - depending on whom you speak to it's either. Having been there I reckon it's Clifden. We found it easily, but then a decent map helps!
