Connemara is a links course with a nice layout and a for this region typical landscape with very sparse vegetation and a lot of rocks. You will not find any bushes or trees. Compared to other links courses in the region its rather flat and doesn't have many of the typical links features the other courses have (e.g. maram grass,... More

Played here late in April and was told wind on the morning I played was at a gale force 5. I think that is in the high 20s/low 30s with higher gusts. Thanks for many wide fairways on this beautiful links course. Was not able to get a caddy so I took a trolly and walked. Had my course map... More

Beautiful scenery throughout the course. Excellent 19th hole! Very friendly people. The fairways, and greens were in excellent condition. The day we played was sunny, in the 70's, with a slight breeze. Unheard of usually, and made the course a lot easier. They also have golf carts (Buggies as they call them) for those who are unable to walk 18 holes.... More

Had a blast playing Connemara - very challenging and very scenic - had everything from difficult shots to a bull right in the middle of the fairway....what fun.

This was a beautiful course. Hilly and right on the ocean. The people that worked there were very helpful. My husband and friend played there and thoughrly enjoyed it. There is a castle in the distance, me and my sister sat upstairs on their beautiful balcony and had scones and hot tea. Absolutely perfect

The golf course is fair to players and an excellent test. The views are spectacular. The clubhouse neat and clean. The restaurant was amazing. Nothing to dislike.

We golfed here at the end of September, and had a true links experience. The greens are a little rough, but the setting is spectacular. We experienced sun, wind, more wind, fog, mist, rain, driving rain, etc. Dress for the weather, and enjoy golf as it was played long ago.
