Was fortunate enough to play 9 holes on this spectacular club. The pro was a great guy who made sure we played the most scenic and challenging 9 holes on the course. The views from the 14th tee are the most amazing I have seem. No wonder Tom Watson was so impressed. One I can tick off the bucket list.

Excellent links course outside Ballyconnelly. Challenging with interesting holes and some fantastic views, good bar and restaurant and well equipped pro shop with friendly staff.

Driving from Clifden you wonder where there is going to land suitable for a golf course ? Turning off the Bunowen road onto a plain of grass your first sight of this masterpiece is a surprise . It truly is beautiful . A huge car park and stone clubhouse overlooks the course. My day was damp but considered dry by... More

This is a great 27 hole course, we played the original 18 holes and there is a sting in the tail! The first 9 lull you into a false sense of wellbeing, with a tough back 9 to finish. Its a fabulous experience especially when the weather is good, a great Eddie Hackett layout and hard to believe it hasn't... More

I have played many of the top links courses in Ireland and Scotland and this ranks up there among the best. It is fair, yet challenging, and you will need every shot in the book to score well. The clubhouse is really nice and all staff working there are very welcoming and friendly. A golf course you must play.

This is a superb example of a pure links course with sea on one side and hills around. Open to the elements and using the contours superbly. I will definitely have to come back and play it at another time.

Top class golf course, as far west in Ireland as one can go, next stop New York.!! If you are a golfing enthusiast then this is a must. It's a bit of a drive, rural Ireland but well worth the trip. This is a gem of a course.

My dad and I have been coming to Connemara golf club for 19 yrs. The golf course is a world class links course and in my opinion one of the best courses in Ireland. The course offers great value when compared to other links courses in Ireland. Warm and friendly staff, not to be missed

If you enjoy a real golf challenge then this is the course for it. It is seldom that there is no wind, anything from a gentle breeze to a storm. With super greens and fairways all add up to a real challenge. Then whether you are a golfer or not pay a visit to the Restaurant or Coffee Shop. They... More

I was part of a golf group that played golf here for three days on the 21/22 and 23 April. We found the golf course in excellent condition throughout. Staff in the golf shop and restaurant and bar were very helpful at all times. I would highly recommend the course to any golfer traveling to play golf in Galway or... More
