Well worth a little visit while you are in Carrick on Shannon. Just a moment out to admire the beauty of this little chapel and to feel the love and devotion that went into its creation.

Really beautiful church. This is the smallest church in Ireland. Built in 1877 by Edwards Costello as a memorial for his wife. There is no charge and as it is a small church it will take no more than 20 minutes to visit .

This little church is fascinating and should not be missed. It's tiny. The smallest in Europe and second smallest in the world. The story of the church is a very romantic one. It's in Carrick on Shannon . It's across the road from Vittos restaurant.

Have been coming to carrick for years and walked passed here numerous times without even noticing it. Only realised it was here when a friend mentioned it so made sure to pay a visit. Love the story behind it and well worth a visit.

Yes as above it's opened daily with no entrance fee. As far as I know it's operated by a local community group so donations are always welcome!
