A public house

It's located centrally and an easy walk from the bus. It's mixed among interesting shops and galleries. Simple pub food.

We ate here twice on a recent and the food was great, the service excellent and the atmosphere was just wonderful. The portion sizes were not huge, as at some pubs, but other than that there was nothing that could have been improved upon in my opinion. Highly recommended.

No music on the night I visited , which was a change from the normal in Kinsale. At least you could enjoy a chat and a good pint . Nice and cosy, staff friendly . Well worth a visit .

We have been travelling all around Ireland as a Family Starting in Belfast. We have enjoyed some fabulous meals along the way. We arrived in Kinsale and thought this pubs menu looked ok for the children, There were 4 adults and 2 children, there were a few people eating and drinking so not to busy. We were joined by a... A group of us stayed here for one night & found it great. Maureen was very accommodating & gave us lots of help. The rooms were clean & a good size, it's centrally located & has a great breakfast. Will be visiting again :)

7.30 pm visit to The Lord Kingsale - waited ages to order drinks at the bar for my wife and I but the bearded bartender completely ignored me, serving others who I suspected were locals and who arrived after me. I attempted to communicate but was again ignored which was very strange. I'm Irish and spent a lot of my... More

To be honest, we were a bit surprised when our meals turned out to be some of the BEST we had during our 2-Week vacation in IRELAND. The place looked good. The menu looked good. But when we looked inside, there were no diners. I don't know what made us take the plunge, but we walked in & gave this... More

We were walking the streets and enjoying the Irish settings and step back in time when we happened upon The Lord Kingsale. It was comfortable, the food delicious and the beers were perfect. We were having so much fun that we didn't want to leave and walk back to our cruise ship, but logic stepped in and we moved on.... More
