Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely place for tea and cookie. The hostess was most gracious, loved the place. Nice place for a pint as well. Great location

Standard Irish pub meeting all the expectations. There are plenty of tables in the side room or towards the back. Bar service is fast. They poured me a Shamrock Guinness which I heard was a bit of a tourist thing but the place was filled with locals.

Velvet stools and carpeting with Swiss chalet decor make this a fun cozy pub to grab a pint. Tvs cushioned benches, tables and ambient lighting make this feel like a welcoming non rowdy space to grab a pint

This is a wonderful traditional pub great to relax with a pint of beer or a glass of sherry. The restaurant serves excellent food at a good price.

The most amazing staff, friendly helpful and charming.
My friend left his wallet which was handed into a staff member who returned it to us the next day, we were extremely grateful as it's a rare occurance for such honestly.
The Irish coffee and Guinness are to die for and the live entertainment (especially last Sunday night) was absouetly brilliant

Exactly what you think of for an Irish Pub. Warm, inviting, classic pub. A local favorite. Drinks only no food which is actually a refreshing plus!

We recently spent five evenings at the Lord of Kingsale, on a bed and breakfast basis, It is situated in a very central position in the town and close to all the amenities. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts lovely - the homemade brown bread was wonderful. We were able to enjoy a few drinks in the bar before retiring to bed in the evenings. Kate was so friendly and looked after us really well - she helped to make our stay really enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Lord of Kingsale to other visitors.

It's located centrally and an easy walk from the bus. It's mixed among interesting shops and galleries. Simple pub food.
