Not a large place but went before dinner for a drink. Later that night we went to a different pub and wished we had gone back to Dalton's. It was packed and the music was pumping. Staff was great. Struck up a conversation with some locals and had quite a few laughs.

We talked off and on during the evening about Kinsale and its music scene. He told me that you will know when the locals arrive because you will not be able to hear the music. When that happened we left, confident that we had enjoyed a genuine Irish pub experience shared by locals and tourists alike.…
