We had sunshine for five days and then rain on this morning. It was a very enjoyable way to spend it. Looking foward to receiving our works in a few weeks.

I booked this course for €195 expecting Michael Ray to be teaching. I was contacted by Jacinta Ryan a few days before the start date as she was now to take the course. Although a nice lady she certainly is not an expert in glass fusing and I spent the weekend a little confused. I didn’t feel she was qualified to answer my questions fully, there were no training notes and I left feeling I needed another course. Response from KinsalePottery, Owner at Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre
Responded 28 Jun 2019
Hi, sorry to take a while to respond. I only just saw your review. The course is an introduction course and is suitable for beginners. Michael Ray taught it for about 14 years and moved to Zimbabwe this year, but he recommended Jacinta as someone with a wealth of experience. I'm sorry that you wanted more and didn't get as much tuition as you'd like. Michael was a great expert, and impossible to replace, but Jacinta has many years' experience and her own studio and glass kiln. With regard to lunches, we haven't offered lunches for about ten years, I'm afraid. I do hope you found a course which suited your level of expertise better.

I think I will definitely be back! …
