Thanks to the Wexford girl for the review. Kinsale has some great history tokd in a way that visitors enjoy history in contrast to many who did not find it enjoyable at school.

The tour starts at 10:30AM at the tourist office (public restrooms available right next door as well if you're in need before the tour). It costs only 5 euro per person, though its worth much more! Its running during covid and everyone is happy to wear masks and abide by social distancing. Our guide was funny, informative, and passionate about the history he was telling. He's a great story teller and keeps you engaged. The walk doesn't require too much distance or incline, so the tour is good for all ages and most abilities (minding the brick and cobble stone roads of course). It lasts approximately an hour and ends just off Saint Multose Church. Absolutely perfect way to start your day in Kinsale!

Thoroughly recommended. Dermott is extremely knowledgable and gave a comprehensive account of the history and development of Kinsale during a 60 minute walk round the old town. Very good value. A must do.
