Had such a lovely time on this tour! Me and my husband’s cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing! So well done—informative and hilarious. Thank you for making our experience in Kinsale special!

Enjoyable and just long enough! It was drizzling rain when we walked into the Tap Tavern to have a cocktail before our tour. This pub is what dreams are made of. A crackling fire, lovely lighting. We have been on many, many ghost tours when we travel. I read reviews of people complaining this was not scary. Not sure I have ever been actually scared on a ghost tour, so the lightheartedness did not bother me. The history is very interesting. The guides are friendly and pleasant. Coming back to the pub for a night cap was an awesome conclusion. Reasonably priced, no advance reservations required. You really can’t go wrong here.

I really didn’t know what to expect but loved every minute ! So much fun !
Both hosts are fantastic - so friendly, great with the kids and enough fun to make the history bits still entertaining for young kids 💕
Our two girls (6 and 8) also loved it - it was a wonderful family event and I would highly recommend it !

This was surprisingly good fun. Not so much about ghosts but more about theatre. But none the less for an alternative few hours entertainment I would highly recommend it.

This duo was immensely entertaining and sharp! Informative narratives about the fascinating history of beautiful Kinsale were imparted with great humor through surprise re-enactments and fine comedic timing. On top of that, they were super welcoming to all, warm, and available to answer questions before and after. Ended up being one of the highlights of trip!

Great experience, we had a blast! Fun way to learn some of the history of Kinsale, tour the town, and have some laughs. If I'm ever back in Ireland will definitely be heading to the Tap Tavern for a pint.

Silly production put on by two really nice Irish fellas. There is some history mixed within, but mostly it's just a very enjoyable way to spend about 90 minutes on a Kinsale evening.

Thanks for a fun and entertaining ‘Monty Python’ ish tour of Kinsale! Both local gentlemen have a wonderful sense of humor and love for this charming historical town. We saw it advertised in the window of the Tourism building. Had no idea of the silliness that was in store.

Irish storytelling at its best. If you don't have a good laugh, you probably should have vacationed elsewhere. The tour guides are naturals at spinning a good yarn and telling you a little about historic Kinsale along the way. Break away from the pub for an hour and take this tour. You won't be sorry!

I read that the Ghost Tour ends at the end of September. We were looking forward to this experience. Are we out of luck?

It is possible the tours go in October but I can’t remember for sure. We did our tour on September 27th. Definitely contact the Tap Tavern. The ghost tour is part of the family business of Tap Tavern and starts there each evening. Best of luck!

We will be visiting on Monday, October 23rd but only visiting for the one night (Monday). Are tours offered that late in the fall and on Monday's ?

i'm not sure if they run every night during autumn, but sure if your in lovely Kinsale wrap up well and call into The Tap Tavern were it starts from.If it's not running sit and enjoy a pint of Murphys in the company Mary the owner.

Last I knew the ghost tour was 10Euro for adults, 5 for children, and lasts about one hour fifteen minutes. To be sure, you could ring 021 477 2240, for bookings, rates, and information. It starts at the wonderful Tap Tavern, which is a fantastic Irish experience in itself!

Should be fine as long as he is ok with quite a bit of walking around and staying up after dark
