Must Do Experience in Kinsale!

Great tour! Very informative and we enjoyed the tasting as well. This is a must see in Kinsale and bring a bag along as you will leave with a few bottles of their tasty brew if you're like us. Yum!

Highly recommended, glad we went!

We visited one afternoon for a tour booked in advance. We were hosted by Katie & Dennis, and had a delightful visit. We learned ancient history of mead, as well as more current events. We were introduced and walked thru the meadery area, with explanations of techniques and process. We then had a guided tasting of multiple mead flavors/styles. Was remarkable experience, especially to build upon my existing understanding of (beer) brewing process. Highly recommended.

The tour and expertise of the brew maker was amazing. The history of mead and how it was part of the early Orish culture was fascinating. The mead itself was delightful. Four different samples plus a cocktail. Learned a lot. Reasonable prices bought a bottle to take home to the states. They packed for checked luggage travel. Would absolutely go back and bring friends.

The Bee's Knees of Kinsale

Absolutely one of the best experiences in Ireland for us so far. The mead is phenomenal, and the staff even better. Sophie was an incredibly gracious and kind human being. We enjoyed not only learning about the mead, but also hearing some history and genuine human interaction. Highly suggest the gift set sampler for traveling, as well as getting a sample of the Sangria!

Fun Adventure in Kinsale

Fun, cute tour

Interesting stories of the history of mead in Ireland and a little tour of the facility. The honey and mead tasting was delicious! Walked out with a bottle in hand at the end. Kate was great.
