Visited this beach when I was in the Shanagarry Area. Had brought a relative's dog for a walk/run and we had a great time! The beach is quite clean. Despite complaints about odour resembling that of sewage, we experienced none of it on this visit!

We were staying at the Garryvoe hotel with this beach literally a stone's throw away. We went on the beach 2 weeks after Hurricane Ophiela so it was well torn up but they had diggers out already to clean and shore up the beach which...More

Stunning place, really is. But the smell of raw sewage is nauseating. Such a shame. Near Shanagarry and Ballycotton , the latter has a great cliff walk and doesn't smell. The former is near Ballymaloe which is just lovely.

This is a really hidden gem. Maybe a little too much seaweed on the beach for some people, but it is so peaceful and remote that really only locals tend to be here. Families catching the last few days before the summer holidays end, really...More

πŸ€” No, it's only about 15 minutes drive from the beach to this hotel. Drive past Ladysbridge , take you first right and follow the N25. Definitely worth the drive as it's an excellent hotel. Hope this helps...😁

Yes, you can rent mobile homes on a 3 month lease. But buying would be a private seller, but you would also have to pay for land on site. Hope this helps!😊
