Very much off the beaten track half way between Cork & Killarney. Our two young daughters had a lovely afternoon with very charming & helpful staff. Ideal for children who like arts & crafts. Suitable for more than 1 visit.

Very welcoming and the Waterloo exhibit and short film were excellent. Staff very helpful and lots to different models to see - allow about 1hr for a really good look round if your all grownups.

Got no ideal, but it was pretty out there so I'm not sure about public transport.

The workshops vary from 40 minutes to 1 hour but you can spend as much time in the factory visitor center or exhibit hall as you like (opening times allowing of course). It is advised to come at least 1 hour before closing... More
