my husband and I were the only ones for the first tour of the morning, and so we got to experience a personal tour! Our tour guide, Michael, was excellent and really knew his history - of the house, of the family, of Dublin. I wish we could've spent even MORE time there!I just can't say enough about the nice people there, especially Michael - if you go, ask for him!! :) It is a little outside of Dublin, so we found a driver. Also, we has a Go City pass and it took us a couple of minutes to get it explained and for them to find the right 'scan' but was not a big deal at all. Excellent tour!

The grounds were amazing. We did the tour of the house. Even though the place was under renovation and some rooms were closed, tour was good and the guide was excellent. The farm was disappointing and there were few animals. Then we have just made it to the cafe before it was closed at 5 o'clock. We got a few cookies that were left which were hard as stone. The staff were rude. Tables were filthy. Then one of the waitresses came to us reminding that we should leave as it was 5 o'clock. We said we will hurry and leave as soon as we finish our tea & coffee. She left. Then a waiter came and told us to leave in a very rude manner. When we said we have just sat down and we would leave ASAP when we are finished. He said that it was not his problem and we should leave at once. This is not a way to treat a visitor. Avoid the cafe at all cost.

We got the tour of Newbridge house today and it was fabulous! Tuan had an absolute mountain of knowledge regarding the history of it, there was nothing we asked he didn't know the answer to! For only 3.50 extra with the farm entrance, it's well worth it! Very interesting, takes about 45 mins in total, would definitely recommend this tour with Tuan to anyone!

We visited Newbridge House this week. It was a great experience. We were two adults and a nine year old. We did a tour of the house with a guide called Tuan. He was interesting, very knowledgeable and engaging. Our nine year old was enthralled. The cafe had tasty food and the farm was a great place to let off steam after the house and cafe visit. Will definitely go again.

Popped here to fill some time before our flight. Grounds, etc nice. But many of the animals were kept in small stone enclosures, often alone, no light or stimulus.
Particularly upsetting was a small pony and donkey. There was nobody available to ask why they were kept like this.

Travelled a long way to visit the farm with family only to find it was closed, there was no notification of this on the website or FB page, I checked before and after and saw no information regarding such an important fact. A festival was being set up and large machinery was moving everywhere, even where we were walking with a small child trying to navigate our way through. It wasn’t safe and a notice should have been placed at the entrance. Only access was to a very limited and and expensive cafe where we had a cold drink and mulled over our disappointment and on how to salvage the day. No apology or explanation from staff.

Newbridge is a gorgeous spot to visit with extensive grounds and beautiful scenery, there is a nice little cafe on the premises but we didnt stop for lunch while we were there, we did enjoy a nice coffee which we took with us while we visited the farm which was very enjoyable, would recommend to families with small children for a fun day out

Been to Newbridge House many times and walked around the estate. But it is the first time (since COVID) where I was able to go around the farm properly. It was a great experience.

We asked Emma who was doing a birthday party if it was possible for our kids to hold an animal. She was doing the party so she wasn't able to do it at that time. She asked us to come to the reception at 3:15 and right on time she was there and let my kids hold a rabbit, a baby goat and gave us a small little tour ourselves.

Outstanding customer service by Emma, she didn't have to do any of that but she went above and beyond.

Thank you!

I highly recommend a visit to Newbridge House and Farm. It's a lovely way to spend a few hours of your day. Alberto is a great tour guide and the house itself is very interesting, with great old smells of the past.

The highlight of our visit to Newbridge House was without a doubt our tour guide Michael. His demeanour was relaxed and welcoming and his knowledge on the house is thorough. We loved everything about the tour in this piece of history. Thank you Michael, you're amazing!
