    Lovely forest
Fantastic place. Lovely place to visit with the family despite the inclement weather. Kids enjoyed climbing on the trees and we walked on one of the walking trails. We look forward to trying the canopy walk next visit and the kids will have to try the Zipit (ziplining) and the playgound the next time we visit. Staff are very friendly.

A lovely place to walk with a great cafe
A lovely place to walk with a great cafe. Our grandson enjoyed the huge trees and we all enjoyed the views of the Lough. We re turned, visiting the cafe on both occasions. It is good food and good value.

    Boda Borg Ireland
Great day out at Boda Borg. The kids loved it and want to go back. My only comment is that it’s all looking a bit dated. The information video at the start was copyright 2011 and it felt and looked that old, the room was also furnished from 2011. It needs something more modern. Some of the quest rooms were also very dated. Some were better than others as ‘Mummy’ and ‘Pirates’ but most looked very old. Shame there wasn’t any good Boda Borg merch for sale either. Just the tshirt and water bottles that looked like they also been in a cabinet since 2011. That said the kids still had a great time and we would go back. The forest looks nice too and needs exploring.

Amazing day out with the kids
Beautiful park , very well maintained . Excellent walks and beautiful views along the walks. Kids really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back to camp during the summer months . The restaurant was really nice , very tasty food and can I mention the staff mostly young males that attended to us were so friendly and helpful to my family this was last week mid week . I can honestly say it is one of the cleanest and nicest parks we have been to so we look forward to coming back and doing kayaking and bringing our bikes for the trails . 10/10

A price point of €40 for a 1-hour row boat trip is heavily mis-judged. It’s something I did as a kid and I’m pretty sure the same boats are still in use. I’d have loved to have made it into a regular thing with the kids and would have been happy with something around €20. At €40, I’d never go back.

Boda Borg please avoid, lots of rooms out of action, many malfunctioning even though not marked as out of action, very expensive at €125 for a family of 5 for 2 hours of frustration as it’s not clear whether the puzzles are brilliant Ken or are you not figuring them out. Met another family who spent half their time trying to complete a puzzle that turned out to be not working. Very disappointing and interesting that it doesn’t have its own site instead of being under Lough Key.

Strongly recommend €17 boat trip onboard the Trinity Boat ..an interesting and extremely entertaining boat tour full of stories and history plus the great Irish humour added to make your trip even more enjoyable.

I was onboard on the August Bank holiday with my cousin...we both learnt more about our hometown

This is an amazing place for families, and the entrance and parking is free of charge. The site is on a lake where you can go on a boat tour, there are a couple of mobile snack bars and a restaurant, or if you prefer you can bbq.

The Swans, the beautiful ducks, the exceptional sense of Presence and History arrested, in mid-sentence! The beautiful surroundings, even in winter: our visit was Wednesday, 15th February!
