- Mark SChristiansted, St. Croix55 contributionsA great golf course. We have visited virtually all the links courses in Scotland, Wales, Devon, Cornwall and Ireland over the years. This is one of our favorites. Such a favorite, we became members from the USA. Demanding. Interesting. Varied. Excellent condition of tees, fairways and greens with fine fescue grass. Every club in the bag is used in every conceivable manner. Tough greens to hold on approach and demanding chips. Many raised greens which are beguiling and maddening, even putting to shame Donald Ross' concepts in their difficulty. Success requires a full test of golf skills. Need to draw, fade and hit the ball straight to do well. Plus gorgeous views, imposing dunes, and everything the demanding golfer would like to experience. Try it. You'll be glad you did.Visited June 2021Written 3 July 2021
- MannySchwartz101 contributionsA Hidden Gem! A Great Links Course!Enniscrone Golf Club is an amazing golf course! The views are fantastic! The course is challenging, but not unfair. It's a real hidden gem and one that should not be missed. The course should be better known and one that every golfer visiting Ireland should visit. Having a caddie was a huge help for a first-time visitor.Visited September 2023Travelled soloWritten 12 September 2023
- Buddy196119 contributionsWild Atlantic courseA proper test of golf today,19th May. Very windy, but warm and then got very sunny. What a golf course hidden away in Co Sligo, we were a party of 8 from London and it was so challenging in the wind but so awesomely different and in brilliant condition. We hadn't played it since 2019 but it was worth the wait thanks to Covid. A must of a visit for any golfer who's golfing skills will be severely tested. Until our next visit and thanks to the pro staff girls, excellent service.Visited May 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 23 May 2022

It is an amazing golf course - true Irish links golf! Lots of challenging and interesting holes, and the wind and the rain added a bit of challenge. Caddies are great, and definitely help keep the score down...
It is somewhat off the "beaten path", but well worth a visit!!!

Warm friendly welcome and the excellent investment the club have made in the car park and also the new bar and food area ... the locker rooms and facilities are a credit now to a course that carries its own in the top 10 links courses in the country
We played here and some of the members sat and chatted to us ... a very memorable experience ..

Enniscrone Golf Club is a Championship Links Course situated on the Western Coast of Ireland. It boasts a serious 7000 yards (plus) and is as stern a test of golf as I have ever encountered. The condition of the course was good, played mid April, but this will improve considerably after the growing season gets going. I believe this to be one of the more demanding links on Ireland coast and incorporates great design, length and multiple changes in elevation and direction throughout its 18 holes. This is a must visit location for anyone who loves golf generally and an essential part of any trip for those seeking unique and excellent Links Golf experiences.

Group really loved it. They said it was a challenging course. They adored the 2 girl caddies as they said they were so witty and not shy in saying you messed up that shot, nikki and Ellie was their names and the group said to give special mention to them
Lovely club house and have to say excellent food in the bar Jack Fenns and Abbey was a great hostess when we were there.
Highly recommend

Booked a round at Enniscrone on a month-long golf trip. We have played at some beautiful places so far (Old Head, Tralee, Dooks, Waterville) and Enniscrone is right there with any! The condition of the course was superb with the best greens conditions that we have encountered so far. Friendly and helpful golf and restaurant staff made for a most enjoyable day! Go out of your way to play Enniscrone is you are looking for an outstanding and authentic links experience!

Very nice course but what derates the experience is that there is no food apart from sandwiches in a box.....plus that the elderly lady in the restaurent should attend a customer centricity course as she was very impolite and rude during our visit this weekend. A shame on such a facitly that it has not a better "kitchen"!

A truly magnificent test of golf which features an unforgettable back nine. It was in great condition and well manicured with fast running greens. As with Carne , it is well worth making the effort to visit as it does not disappoint.

Hello: We will be playing Inniscrone next month and have no prior experience in Ireland golf. Do you think we need a Caddie?

It's always nice to support local caddies and they can save you shots. In saying that i think the course guide/shot saver will help if you're on a budget.
