Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The 4 day Roryfest 2022 was my 11th visit to this tremendous celebration of rock / blues music in general and Rory Gallagher in particular. There is live music from early afternoon until we’ll after midnight in a variety of locations such as the local pubs from 10.30pm for free , the huge marquee from around 7.30pm at €30 per night and Rory Gallagher Place and Ballyshannon Square ( also free ) . Around 10,000 music fanatics attend this wonderful festival despite the fact that it is tricky to get to and hotel accommodation is at a premium. Generally people stay at nearby Bundoran and there are shuttle buses to and from there to Ballyshannon. There is also a camp site in Ballyshannon for the more hardy visitors but it is a very special place for Rory fans !

A lively sculpture that captures Rory perfectly. If you like blues music, you'll be familiar with the much-missed Ballyshannon man.
Rory was the only performer who would play Belfast at the height of the troubles - he sold out the Ulster Hall when he did - and I'll always love him for that.
He'd be proud that he's remembered in this way.

Situated yards from Dorrians Imperial Hotel, Ballyshannon, the oldest town in Ireland. The statue is of the famous rock musician who was born in this small town in Donegal.

Knew him slightly as he started his career and love his music to bits! Had to stop and say hello. Took photos of other visitors and they then our photo with the great man!

Hubby a hug fan so when in Donegal we had to come to take a picture with one of his idols statues. In Ballyshannon the oldest town ample parking at the bus station and a stroll round the corner.

Beautiful statue to a fine guitarist, whose origins are in Ballyshsnnon, and in who’s honour a festival of music is held every year.

Just park on the street and get your selfie with Rory in the center of town. Street parking is hit or miss but it's a landmark.
