Incredible! The tour was absolutely amazing with our tour guide. She showed us around the castle, the courtyard/stable area, and also underneath the castle where the significant artefacts and memorabilia are kept! She also answered any question we had. You could tell she loved her job. 100% would recommend to anyone visiting or even a small bit away, it's worth the drive. Have a drink in the Armada bar and then take the tour, totally worth it.

We came to Belleek castle on Mon 3rd of oct 2022.
That day we had an excellent tour and a warm welcome.
First we had a brief talk of history from our excellent guide Carol.
And I made myself at home on the comfy sofa with the warm fire.
We then explored the playroom of Marshall Doran and had a look at fossils and Grace O’Malley’s bed.
And now the best part we went to the weapons room and Carol let us play
With some weapons and our teacher got united as a knight.
That was a great time and I been to a wedding there once and it was great service.

On Monday we went to Belleek Castle. A lady called Carol gave a brief history about the Castle. Then she gave us a tour around the dungeons we saw the pirate Queen’s bed and saw the last wolf shot in Connaught county.Galway. My favourite part was holding the woolly mammoth’s tooth and seeing the armoury and the last wolf shot in Connaught.

A group of about twenty of us went along for a look. We had a great time! Our tour guide was very well informed, and was good fun. We got the chance to play with ancient weapons. One of our group was knighted, and I got the opportunity to do a mock beheading execution on my boss - what’s not to like 🤣

Not a lot of space for parking but it's free. We walked a bit to the castle (the castle itself only open for public from 2PM onwards) and while the ground is lovely but there isn't much to see. The forest walk is lovely and well maintained.

What a wonderful day. We had the pleasure of a castle tour with Carol, who was so engaging and informative and made everything so wonderful. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the castle and all the different stages it went through to become what it is today. Would also recommend lunch at Jack Fenn Cafe on site which we did after our tour. Wonderful food with excellent service. What a great find this was. Real value for money too at only €10 each. Highly recommended.

A wonderful tour given by the engaging and knowledgable Carol. Our children 7, 6, 4 and 2 were captivated and loved the hands on elements. Marshall Doran was a wonderful character and the tour was worth it. We had a lovely brownie and drink the cafe afterwards too.

I don’t believe so. Hundreds of years old. Many stairs. Rooms upstairs that we stayed in. As another person suggested please contact them via email. They are very responsive via email as I did email them with questions prior to our stay.
