Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy loop walk, but a few steep ladder stiles. It is absolutely stunning, but only in good weather!

Beautiful walk over sometimes challenging terrain and surrounded by sheep. Magical views over the ocean, down the cliffs and of the islands in the distance. Takes approx 2 hours to complete. Do not forget to get a cup of tea back the carpark for this good man has great stories to tell about the area.

Beautiful views, not too many people. Could get muddy when wet. Take time while walking to soak it all in. Easy walk but does have steps and some mild climbs and uneven ground.

We arrived in Belmullet and this was our #1 walk. Delighted we chose this; work and family had no head space. Great start to our break.
Dinner booked in Talbot Fish Tavern was the best end to a great day.

A very well marked path that took us 1.5 hours. We wore boots but it wasn’t boggy at all and shoes would have been fine. We had the path to ourselves and the views were really nice. It is busier at weekends and there is a coffee van at the parking lot then.

A very nice 1.5 hour walk on a well marked trail. We wore boots as some people said the path was boggy but boots really weren't necessary.

Amazing views sunny views and spooky sea mist. This walk is a must. I started off at the small car park that is well serviced with portaloos and a coffee van (weekends only).
The sky was so blue and the cliffs are stunning, it is well signposted and there are cliff warnings to stay inside the sign posts. Halfway through the loop walk I entered into a sea mist on the Atlantic side. It was really the polar opposite of the weather at the start. The sign posts are quite visible and there are marble stone markings so you will not go off the path. It is pure Wuthering Heights, even the sheep watch you.
And then you leave the sea mist and back into the sunshine to finish the loop. It is nuts, but really worth a visit. And then a nice treat of a cappucino and really tangy lemon drizzle cake to end the walk.

Amazing views. Well worth the time and effort. The photos say it all. Takes about hour and half but sea on right, left and in front of you.

Great spot for a walk although Dangerous cliffs out around the back. No fences so children would have to be supervised.

We started the walk over a small bridge then decided against as the wind blew us back. This is the bleakest place god created, windy, massive waves and wild sea, couldn't think of a better place to be.

Is this walk suitable for children ?

Hello, I would say it depends on how well they listen to parental guidence and their age. If it´s toddlers then they will need some carrying and good footwear. If it´s older children then yes provided they respect the cliffs and stay well away from the edge.

Apparently just a mistake. I sent a note to the Reviewer suggesting it be deleted and replaced with a higher rating.
