Beautiful location tucked away off the beaten track with a port a loo even on site. Stunning scenery with breath taking views over the bay. Was very wet and mucky climb would recommend wellies for the climb

When it’s been raining, wear quality rain boots with good grip! I fell into the sheep muck twice today, entirely my fault for not wearing good grip. Stay on the path, worth the muck for the incredible vistas. Sheep were very tame, don’t be scared.

Spent a few days in Belmullet in july. Walked the erris loop walk. Beautiful scenery. Use strong walking shoes as path may be a bit muddy. Well worth doing.

We were so glad we visited here and we were lucky it was such a nice, clear day. Beautiful views as you walk and the bogland track is great underfoot.

Although this well-marked walk does not get the attention that many others do, it is indeed outstanding. Cliffs and coastal scenery, and without the crowds. I saw only two other people, at the end of a two-hour walk. There is a dress code: good walking...More

We did this walk and as worldwide travellers I can only describe it as the most stunning, memorable experience ever. Here are some pics but you need to visit to appreciate it for yourselves

Excellent scenery despite the one lane bumpy road. That may be my picture so watch out for the sheep and lamb as they meander out on to the road.

We drove to Erris Head, it’s an unassuming little teeny inlet. We went up the hill, thinking this will be a nice walk. It takes you along the coast, which is just so stunning! We were there on Easter Saturday so the weather was sunny...More
