- Mark CKildare, Ireland56 contributionsHidden GemA really beautiful church and the walled gardens are a hidden gem. Gather your thoughts in the church, looks really different on the inside with the stone finish. Grab a coffee and visit the gardens at the back. - TigerTina301New Orleans, Louisiana1,588 contributionsBeautiful Church Inside & OutsideA gorgeous church both outside and inside. I came here on my honeymoon to light a candle for my Nana. Happy that it was open and empty so I could quietly say some prayers. It's very well maintained and the stained glass was beautiful. The grounds outside were well kept too. There is a beautiful statue of Mary outside of the church.Visited May 2023Written 1 July 2023

It is not by Harry Clarke. These are in the Diseart Convent nearby. A fine place of worship. Candles good value at just 35c each. Worth a visit. Stay a while. Say a prayer.Visited September 2020Travelled soloWritten 5 September 2020

Did not visit as a tourist but rather a congregant. Super music and a reverent atmosphere. Had a beautiful chat with the Priest after.

We popped in here to see this grand ancient church. It was very grand inside and there was a lovely aroma. It was fitting to light a candle and leave a donation at the exit

Absolutely beautiful Roman Catholic Church. Do not be confused by many of the pictures here that are of a different church. We attended Mass at St. Mary's while in Dingle and were truly in awe of such an amazing church and a beautiful Mass.

While we didn't go into the church itself, we explored the museum building (used to be convent) with chapel. the beautiful gardens,
and burial ground for the Sisters. We were surprised by the gardens which were just lovely even in the rain.

We walked the garden and grounds of the church as a mass was starting soon after we arrived. Beautiful. Peaceful. Well worth the walk.

We attended Mass here while visiting Dingle. It was cool to hear the liturgy spoken in gaelic, and the mass was extremely reverent

St. Marys has a very nice intimate interior with beautiful stain glass windows. It's a nice walk up the hill from the main part of town. I even found they had a bathroom in the back of church behind the glass doors.

I am from Tralee, Co.. Kerry, Ireland...
We are spoilt for choice with Catholic Masses in Tralee.
Weekdays we have 8 Masses every day between 3 churches. All 3 churches are walking distance away from each other. These Masses are spread throughout the day. There are also 3/4 more Masses during the week in local hospitals etc
During the weekend between 8 churches big and small you have about 15 Masses between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
There really is a time to suit everybody.
Hope this of help.
Ann
