Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Attended the Sourdough course today. Fabulous. Mark is a great instructor and doesn’t mind how many questions you ask.
Kathleen who was assisting was also lovely.

Spent 5 hours at this school on a rainy Irish day. I heard a very interesting history of Irish food then was treated to several hours of hands on training learning to make Dingle Pies, Brown Bread, Apple pie. I know quite a bit about food preparation but still learned different things and thoroughly enjoyed the class. We consumed all the delicioius food we made as a group (9bof us)Recipes of everything made were handed out at the end of class.

Really fun day out at an extremely well equipped cooking school. Mark and Muireann run a fine operation. Professional and entertaining . Took the Traditional Irish Cooking class combined with one of the best history lessons ever. If only my teachers of yore had been as entertaining as Mark. Learned so much in the hands on cooking session and the short demos that I'm inspired to dig deeper into Irish history - and food! As someone who has taught cooking classes and seeks out classes wherever I travel, this place ranks among the best. Many thanks. I'll be back - save me a slice of apple cake, please.

Had an amazing time, learned so much, each dish was simplified where everyone could easily follow, techniques I will take with me for life. The history on Irish food was very informative. Thank you for your patience and tutorship Dingle Cookery School, will definitely call again.

This was the second event we did with Mark and both events were the highlights of our trip. Mark’s enthusiasm and love of Irish food and Irish food history coupled with his terrific culinary skills made this day of Irish cooking at his wonderful cookery school a memorable day full of good conversation great food and lots of laughs! This is a must do when in Dingle. Mark also owns the Little Cheese Shop in Dingle which we stopped into several times to pick up wonderful Irish cheeses. Also check out the Beer and Cheese tour that Mark does in conjunction with Dick Mack’s Pub! This is also great fun and the cheese and locally made craft beers are delicious!

Mark Murphy is a charismatic character who not only managed to hold all enthralled with his knowledge of Irish food history but allowed us to have a hands on experience in creating a wonderful lunch made with local ingredients.
I have taken many a cookery class but yesterday’s was one of the best. I highly recommend it.
Courses are usually a day affair and range between Traditional Irish Cooking to Catch and Cook via various others such as vegetarian and Seaweed Foraging!
One not to be missed by those who enjoy the culinary arts of Ireland

Our tour had the pleasure of spending an evening with Chef Mark and staff. The facility comfortably handled our group of twenty three. The event was well planned and informative. Mark has a fun personality and mixed the instruction with wit and humor. We were all impressed with our food creations. I’m looking forward to applying my new learning at home.

There were 23 of us attending a multi course cooking adventure focusing on Irish traditional fare: a fish starter, followed by a flavorful beef stew and apple cake. Our group members learned great cooking tips from Mark Murphy: a very knowledgeable and passionate chef. What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Dingle! We will be back next year. Thank you Mark, MuireAnn and Caroline for your guidance, expertise and kindness.

I will be staying in Dingle in May2018 and am interested in the Thursday Irish Cooking class. I'm a published author and doing research for a romance novel in an Irish Cooking School. Do I need to sign up this far in advance for a class? There may be another author interested in taking the class, also.
