Beautiful beach with waves crashing along the cliffs. Parking available up at the top and a walk down to the beach. No toilets. There is also a trail up Dunmore Head where some of Star Wars was filmed. The walk feels a bit wild with a rock wall to climb over and a trail along the cliff's edge. Absolutely stunning views all along the way and a panorama of the Blasket Islands at the most Western Point in Europe halfway around the loop. What a gorgeous place for a walk and a picnic. It is a incline and could be dangerous in wet weather. For those with some mobility issues, bring a walking stick and take it slow.

On A Stormy Day there is nowhere like it . Had it all to myself yesterday because of the county travel limit and no tourists . I could hardly stand with the wind . The head above the beach was used for Star Wars and there’s a new path up to the top of it but not on a day like yesterday.
Only for it’s not safe to swim there this is the perfect beach .

You can access thi beach the easy way. We do not recommend going up and down to and from the hill. The slippery walkway could lead you to injury.

Great small beach. Dangerous to swim but very exciting if you do. Not for beginners. Some surfers if the tide is right. Parking can be tight in sunny day.

Beautiful beach in all weathers, great for swimming on a sunny day and walking (down to) on in stormy weather.

Nice place to get your feet wet. This is just a short walk from the trail that leads up the hill. There is a convenient parking lot. The beach is small, but there might not be anyone else on it. not sure that this is a great place for swimming, but the water is cold and the views are wonderful.

How much time it take to do the hike up the nice view? Thanks for all the nice reviews guys.

The hike was an easy 15 minute walk. The only difficult part was figuring out which way to get over the fence without getting caught on your clothes. Walk slow to give the sheep a chance to get off the path.

We are kindly looking for advise from those who have visited both Coumeenoole and Clogher Head at Waymont. In short... which should we do?! While Coumeenoole has TA reviews, there is no listing for Waymont (near community of Graigue on Slea Head).

Can I suggest you try to contact Colm Banbury at Dingle Guided Walks. Google them. They are on Facebook and Twitter. Very knowledgeable about this area. I don't know Waymont but Coumeenoole and Mt Eagle to the NW of it is a superb walk with outstanding views and very few tourists. Have a great time.
